My name is Jonathan Richard Turtle, but you can call me Jonathan. My VISA number is **** **** **** **** and the date of expiration is **/**. Are you serious? You thought I would give that to you?

Everyone has a blog. My grandma even has a blog and she doesn’t even know what a computer is.

I’ve been around the internet. Xanga, myspace, facebook etc etc. I never had a livejournal though, it probably sucked anyway.

I’ve been through University and came out with my degree. I still have hopes of doing my masters some day soon.

I’m married to my best friend, Christina, and that happened on September 28th, 2007. She is a constant encouragement because she loves and accepts me even though she knows all of my faults.

I’m a youth pastor in Aurora but I’m not particularily good at it (www.momentum-youth.ca).

I’m a minimalist in disguise. Meaning, I like to say that I want to live simply, but really I’m steeped in materialism and am having trouble letting go of that.

I do a lot of things, but the one thing that defines me is that I follow the Son, revealed to us by the name Jesus (if I was able to highlight a quote from this section and blow it up real big like they do in magazines then I would do that for the previous italicized part).

On this page I will blog about whatever I want to just like you do on your blog. However, this won’t be a depressing read, I promise. No matter how depressing a certain post may be or feel, there is always hope. ‘Elpis’ is the Greek term for ‘hope’.

I don’t have any expert advice to offer the world. I don’t blog because I feel I have anything particularily interesting to say, because I really don’t. Not much of what I say is original thought. All I hope to do is communicate that very thing…hope.
